We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, no exceptions! It is against the law in the State of Massachusetts.

A minimum of a $40.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a tattoo appointment. A non-refundable deposit of $100 or more will be required for larger work. We will not schedule the appointment until the deposit is paid (cash, credit or debit). Checks are not accepted. The deposit will be credited towards your tattoo. If your tattoo requires several sittings, the deposit will go towards the final sitting.
We do not schedule appointments or provide price quotes over the phone or via email.
Our custom hourly rate is $130.00, however; tattoos are also priced by the piece.
Deposits for custom work are non-refundable. Your deposit will still be deducted from your tattoo total if you are rescheduling your appointment and give at least 48 hours notice. Any other circumstances will result in the forfeiture of the deposit (cancellation, no show, etc.).
A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of your appointment in order to be tattooed. (A valid photo ID is a driver's license, passport, state issued identification card or military ID. Photocopies of any ID or expired ID's are not acceptable).
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason! We will not tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Prices are subject to change with or without notice. Piercing with your own jewelry is performed with acceptable jewelry only. All jewelry MUST be sterilized. Please allow one hour for your jewelry to be properly sterilized prior to your appointment. The cost of the piercing with your own jewelry will vary depending on the type of piercing performed. Please call ahead and speak with one our piercer's to be sure your jewelry is of acceptable quality. Thank you!

Jewelry changes are free if jewelry is purchased from Visions. If purchased elsewhere, the change out fee will be $5.00.

IF YOU ARE MINOR AND WOULD LIKE YOUR JEWERLY CHANGED, YOUR PIERCING STRETCHED, OR YOUR JEWELRY PUT BACK IN, YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR PARENT WITH YOU ALONG WITH YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND YOUR PARENT'S ID. THANK YOU!!!

Stretching prices are free if jewelry is purchased from Visions. If purchased elsewhere stretching fee is $10.00.

THERE ARE NO RETURNS ON JEWELRY.

PIERCING MINORS:
Without exception, we WILL NOT pierce anyone under 18 without a parent or legal guardian present with the minor to sign the release form.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason! We will not pierce anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent MUST supply a valid photo ID* and the minor's birth certificate. If the minor has a photo ID, please bring that with you!

The State of Massachusetts does not specify minimum age requirements for piercings with the exception of nipples and genitals. However; we at Visions believe that there should be a minimum age requirement for certain piercings. Please keep in mind, that it is at the piercer's sole discretion whether or not to do the piercing after speaking with the minor and the parent. Things that will be considered are the minor's lifestyle, maturity to care for the piercing themselves and attitude. Below are the age minimums for the following piercings:

You must be 18 to receive the following piercings. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Nipples
Genitals

All other piercings:
14 years of age or older with parents consent and with piercer's discretion.

EXCEPTION: 16 years of age or older for Tongue piercings.

JEWELRY POLICY:
We pierce with the following types of material:
ASTM certified 316LVM F-138 implant grade stainless steel
ASTM certified 6Al-4V-Eli F-136 implant grade Titanium
14k gold and/or 18k solid gold
Niobium

We carry for healed piercings but do not pierce with the following types of materials:
FDA approved acrylics
Dental Acrylic

We are now carring horn, stone, bone, wood, and have a larger selection of gold navel jewelry.

If you wish to bring your own jewelry our policy is as follows:
The jewelry must be one the piercing materials named above. If you are bringing your own gold please make sure it is 18k.
Jewelry brought in must be free of flaws (scratches, nicks, burrs)
Please bring in your jewelry several hours in advance so we have time to properly clean and sterilize it.

ALL jewelry sales are FINAL. The only exception is if there is an obvious defect in the jewelry in which case we either have it repaired or replace it. If you do not know the proper size and gauge of your jewelry please ask our piercing staff for help to insure that you purchase the right piece.
