At Visions and the with the State of Massachusetts, you have to be 18 years or older. You must provide a government issued photo ID (i.e. a State ID Card, Drivers License, or a Passport). Expired IDs and/or photocopied IDs will not be accepted.
**Original long form of your birth certificate with the seal ALONG WITH an expired ID or MA state temporary paper license (with legible photo only) will be an acceptable form of identification while you are waiting for your permanent ID. Please note, this will be at the discretion of our front of house assistant’s. We reserve the right to turn away any identification that is creased, non-legible, worn out, etc… We highly encourage planning ahead to receive your permanent non-expired ID before scheduling your appointment.**
At this time, you may bring ONE support person to your appointment. Please leave children, additional friends and other family members at home. We do not allow children in the studio during the appointment. If children are brought and there is not an adult to care for them outside the studio, your appointment will have to be rescheduled and will result in a forfeiture of your piercing retainer. Another piercing retainer will need to be placed before rescheduling. Please plan accordingly or call to reschedule with 2 or more hours notice.

For all of minor friends, Visions’ requires the original long form birth certificate with a state seal and parent name listed on it.
The parent accompanying them must provide a government issued photo ID. Expired IDs or photocopies will not be accepted. The adult that consents for the piercing must be listed on the birth certificate or provide legal guardianship paperwork. Last names must match the birth certificate of the minor. If there has been a name change via divorce, marriage, guardianship, that documentation must be provided at the time of appointment. For older minor clients, if you have a Passport, School ID, Drivers License or Permit, please bring that with you. It is NOT mandatory, we like to have a face with a name in your profile!
For procedures on minors, Visions requires that a parent or legal guardian be present to fill out the release form and must be present in the piercing room.
The Medway Board of Health requires that we must prove proof positive the relationship between the minor and adult bringing them. We can not perform any service without this documentation.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at 508.533.1369. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Visions cannot pierce you if you are: taking the prescription drug Accutane, pregnant, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We also suggest refraining from swimming for at least 6-8 weeks following any piercing procedure.
Before any piercing service, the piercers at Visions will consult with you about your individual anatomy. Our piercing staff may decline to perform certain piercings on you based on this anatomy consultation. It is very common that a client requesting a particular piercing does not possess the anatomy required to safely heal said piercing; we will do our best to explain why we would suggest similar, alternative piercings that have a better chance of healing.
Please note; all initial piercings must be performed with new jewelry purchased at our studio.
