The first event of 2024 is The Massachusetts Tattoo and arts festival .
located in central MA. conveniently right off the Mass Pike in Sturbridge.
Tattoo events features tattooing, piercing, tattoo contests, sideshow entertainment acts, local artisans, vendors and more! Also, award-winning tattoo artists from all over the country in one spot!!
Canman and Anthony have some opening available and medium to large project are first to be considered.

The Massachusetts Tattoo and Art Festival was founded in 2006 by Joe and Irene Peterson. They both own Zaza Ink and this event is held each year in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
Festival Dates & Times
- March 22-24, 2024
- All artists must be present for health dept inspections at 1pm
- Friday 4p – 10p
- We are aiming for an earlier opening time, dependent on the time frame of the opening inspections
- Saturday 11a – 10p
- Sunday 11a – 5p

Tattoo events Tickets are available at the door only this year. $25 day or $60/ weekend pass
Children 12 and under are free.

Contest are held at 8 pm Friday and Saturday, 3 pm Sunday.
The entry cut-off is 30 minutes prior.
The entry fee is $10/ per contest.

Contest Rules
- Small: Must fit within a 4″×6″ area
- Medium: Must fit within a 6″×10″ area
- Large: Must fit within a 9″×15″ area
- Jumbo: Larger than 9″×15″ but not a complete sleeve/ back piece
- Arm sleeve must be complete, covering both the upper and forearm
- Leg sleeve must be complete covering both upper and lower leg
- Back piece must cover the entire back
- $10 per entry
- Less than 3 entries into any category voids that category
- The same tattoo can only be entered twice
- Best of show and tattoo of the day tattoos must be started and finished on the show floor or you will be disqualified
- Arguing about the rules/judges/fee/other entrants etc will disqualify you
