Canman was born in South Boston and raised in the suburb of Medway, Massachusetts. He started his tattoo career in 1995 serving a formal apprenticeship under Deana Lippens in Orlando, Florida. Canman is known for his clean line work and creative tattoo designs. He enjoys tattooing in the following styles: illustrative, neo-traditional, and traditional Americana in both black and grey and Bold color.
His favorite subject matter includes: Sci-Fi, Horror, Gothic, Fantasy, Floral, Botanical, Art Nouveau, Japanese, Tibetan, Esoteric, Psychedelic, Geometric/Mandala, Natural world, Celebrity/Character portraits.
