Professional Piercer
Visions Tattoo, Piercing & Art Gallery is seeking an experienced professional piercer to join our team. We are current APP members and help you join as well.
ABOUT US: Visions is a full-service tattoo and piercing studio in an art gallery setting, housing incredible visionary artists and piercers under one vintage Victorian roof in beautiful New England. Our studio is located in Medway, Massachusetts, approximately 40 minutes Southwest of Boston, 30 minutes East of Worcester and 35 minutes North of Providence, RI. Visions is owned and operated by artists Canman and Angela Cannistraro. We are an established studio in business since 2004.
Working at Visions provides you the opportunity to be a piercer in a studio with an existing and loyal clientele. We have reception staff members to assist directly with client interactions and social media marketing. Flexible scheduling available, by appointment in our private studio. Your responsibilities would include selecting jewelry with your client, keeping your workspace immaculate, processing your own tools (if you use them), and basic Statim maintenance.

- Ability to work with a comprehensive POS system that includes jewelry inventory, client piercing, and jewelry history
- A healthy work/life balance for all employees. Our studio hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 7pm, taking our last piercing a half hour prior to closing.
OUR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Anatomy, Physiology and Skin Course for Tattoo Artists and Body Piercing Practitioners (Skin Course)
- At least 3-5 years in studio professional experience (desired)
- All updated certifications: BBP, 1st Aid, and CPR
- You will need either a completed Anatomy/Physiology College Level course, APP Anatomy Course or Anatomy, Physiology Body Piercing Practitioners (Skin Course) By Save Each Life.
- Experience in selling and working with high end jewelry (desired)
- Dependable transportation, clean and friendly
- Great bedside manner
